Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at a Brookside Care Strategies in Muncie, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Behavioral Care Facility and Long Term Care setting, preferably in a Nursing Home environment. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents.

A typical day looks like this:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification - deal breaker

Job Summary:

The Medication Aide, QMA will be responsible for administering medication to patients in a nursing home setting. The ideal candidate will have nursing home experience and be a certified medication aide. The Medication Aide, QMA will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and will be responsible for accurately administering medication to patients, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and documenting medication administration.
